Eligibility Criteria for the Magistrate Role
Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
- Former post-holder in Andhra Pradesh Judicial Service (retired or resigned)
- Retired official in the A.P. Judicial Ministerial Subordinate Service (Superintendent rank or higher) with a Law Degree
- Former Section Officer or above in A.P. High Court Service with a Law Degree
- Advocate with at least 5 years of experience who is currently not enrolled in the Bar Council
- Retired Gazetted Officer with Law Degree or who passed the full Criminal Judicial Test or equivalent modern equivalents, and exercised magisterial powers for a minimum of three years
Preference will be given to retired Judicial Officers.
