Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications based on their respective disciplines:
- Ayurvedic Doctors: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from a recognized university, completion of internship, and registration with the Bihar State Ayurvedic & Unani Council.
- Homeopathic Doctors: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), completion of internship, and registration with the Bihar State Homeopathic Council.
- Unani Doctors: Unani physicians must have completed an internship, earned a Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), and registered with the Bihar State Ayurvedic & Unani Council.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of document verification and a computer-based test (CBT). The CBT will evaluate the candidates’ subject-matter expertise.
CBT Exam Pattern
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 400
- Negative Marking: One mark is subtracted for each wrong response in negative marking.
- Duration: 2 hours
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- Unreserved (UR): 40%
- BC: 36.5%
- EBC: 34%
- SC/ST/Female/PwBD: 32%
