Eligibility Criteria for DSP Nurse Proficiency Training 2025
To be considered for the Proficiency Training Program at DSP Hospital, candidates must fulfill specific educational and age-related eligibility criteria. The qualification requirements are:
Educational Qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Nursing) or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution.
- General/EWS/OBC-NCL: Minimum 60% aggregate marks.
- SC/ST: Minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- If a candidate holds both qualifications, the higher marks in either will be considered.
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration Certificate is required.
Age Limit (as on 30-06-2025):
- General/EWS: Max 30 years
- OBC-NCL: Max 33 years
- SC/ST: Max 35 years
Relaxations are applicable only with valid certificates issued on or after 01-04-2025.
Training Details and Monthly Allowance Structure
This training offers hands-on exposure in multiple departments such as ICU/NICU, Surgery, Paediatrics, Casualty, Medicine, and Orthopaedics. The training duration is fixed at 18 months, with 8-hour daily shifts and one weekly off.
Monthly Stipend and Attendance-linked Allowance:

Online Interview & Document Verification Procedure
Shortlisted candidates will receive their interview schedule via registered email/SMS, including the video link and credentials. The process includes:
- Online Document Verification: Original certificates must be displayed on camera.
- Online Interview: Conducted after successful verification.
Technical Requirements:
- Stable internet, functional webcam, and clear audio setup.
- Quiet and private setting is mandatory (no third party allowed).
- Interviews cannot be rescheduled due to candidate-side technical issues.
The selection is entirely based on interview performance. In case of a tie, aggregate marks in B.Sc. or GNM will decide final selection.

Terms and Conditions of the Training Program
The engagement is strictly for training purposes and does not guarantee any employment at DSP or SAIL. Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a Certificate of Proficiency, subject to:
- Completion of the full 18-month training
- Submission of valid Registration Certificate (if not already submitted)
If training is not completed or registration certificate is not submitted within three months, the certificate will not be issued.

Other General Guidelines:
- Candidates must be Indian nationals.
- All certificates must be valid as of 30 June 2025.
- DSP reserves the right to cancel/reject applications at any stage.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending online interviews.
A merit-based panel (1:1 ratio) will be formed for the final list, valid for 6 months. The final list will be published on the SAIL official website.
