Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications for RIE Mysuru Contractual Jobs 2025
Candidates must ensure they meet the educational and age criteria before attending the walk-in interview. Most Assistant Professor roles require a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with NET/KSET/Ph.D./M.Phil as per UGC norms.
Applicants for Pedagogy-based posts must hold M.Ed. along with a Master’s degree in the concerned subject. Candidates for Lab Assistant roles must have a B.Sc. degree with subject relevance, while project and computer-related posts require postgraduate degrees and relevant work experience.
The age limit varies by post:
- Assistant Professors: Up to 70 years
- Lab Assistants: Not exceeding 27 years
- Project Staff: Up to 40 years (as per UGC norms)
- Assistant Programme Manager: Not more than 45 years (65 for retired govt personnel)
