Zone-Wise Technical Intern Vacancies 2025
The 358 total vacancies have been distributed across five major zones including Delhi, South, North East, West, and East.

Eligibility Criteria for Prasar Bharati Technical Interns
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess a B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Electronics
- Telecommunication
- Electrical
- Civil
- Information Technology (IT)
- Computer Science
In addition:
- A minimum of 65% marks is mandatory.
- Final year students (2024–25) may also apply, provided they produce a certificate from the Head of Institution confirming their eligibility.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 30 years as on the last date of application (1st July 2025).

Roles & Responsibilities of Technical Interns
The Technical Interns will play a crucial role in supporting Prasar Bharati’s broadcast infrastructure and operations. They will be deployed to various Doordarshan and Akashvani stations and engaged in technical duties such as:
- Installation, maintenance, and operation of broadcast and IT equipment.
- Signal monitoring and supporting OB (Outside Broadcast) van operations.
- Upgrades and repairs in studios and transmission infrastructure.
- Digital archiving, troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Support in live event coverage, field recording setups, and real-time technical assistance.
- Assisting with civil and electrical maintenance tasks in infrastructure development projects.
This exposure will give interns a well-rounded experience in broadcast technology and real-world engineering practices.
Selection Process for Prasar Bharati Technical Interns
The selection process is transparent and performance-based. Here’s how it will take place:
- Shortlisting of candidates based on eligibility criteria and academic records.
- A written test and/or interview will be conducted (at the discretion of Prasar Bharati).
- No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance) will be provided for appearing in selection rounds.
Final selection will be made purely on merit and relevant technical knowledge.
