Are You Eligible for This Unique Opportunity?
This role is specifically designed for women SHG members under NRLM. But not everyone qualifies. Here’s what makes you eligible:
- You must be an active SHG member for at least 2 years with a valid NRLM MIS entry (LokOS).
- Age should be between 25–40 years as of 1st January 2025.
- You should have passed Higher Secondary (preferably in Commerce). If not available, any graduate can apply. Computer knowledge is desirable.
- Experience or understanding of bookkeeping, basic accounting, and willingness to learn new skills is a must.
- Applicants should be physically fit and ready to travel within or outside the district/state.
Note: If you’re already working under schemes like ICDS, ASHA, or NGOs, or if you hold any position in SHG federations or Panchayats, you are not eligible.
How Will You Be Selected?
The selection process ensures only the most dedicated and qualified candidates are chosen:
- Written Exam (80 Marks):
- General Knowledge: 20 Marks
- Basic Math & Accounting: 20 Marks
- Basic English: 20 Marks
- SHG-related Questions: 20 Marks
- Interview (20 Marks):
To assess communication, subject knowledge & intent. - Computer Test (Optional – 20 Marks):
May be added if required, total still capped at 100.
Shortlisting will be based on application scrutiny. Admit cards and interview dates will be communicated by DMMU.
What Will You Do As a Community Auditor?
The responsibilities go far beyond basic auditing:
- Prepare Financial Reports for Sangha Cooperatives (quarterly & annually).
- Conduct monthly visits to cooperatives and upload reports on the SRLM portal.
- Work closely with the District Monitoring Team, support bookkeeping, conduct training sessions, and provide handholding support to weaker SHGs.
