Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed HSC from a recognized board.
- Must possess a National Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade from an institute recognized by SCTE&VT/NCVT.
- Minimum Marks:
- General: 60%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 50%
Workman Permit:
- Candidates must possess a Lineman-MV Permit (with learner permit for Workman-HT) from Electrical Licensing Board of Odisha (ELBO).
- This must be produced at the time of document verification.

Salary Details
- During Training: ₹17,000/- per month (for 1 year)
- Post Training: Appointed as Assistant Technician in Pay Matrix ₹25,600 – ₹81,200/- (Level NE(T)-4)
- Additional benefits: DA, HRA, Medical, NPS, Conveyance Allowance, Insurance, Loans, etc.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – 200 MCQs (3 hours)
- Subject Knowledge: 80%
- Reasoning, Numerical, GK: 10%
- English: 10%
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
- Skill Test – Practical test involving physical tasks like tower climbing and electrical operations.
- Document Verification & Medical Fitness Test
Final Merit = 80% weightage from CBT + 20% from Skill Test
