Eligibility Criteria for ONGC Energy Centre SPF Post 2025

To apply for the Senior Project Fellow (SPF) role, candidates must fulfill the following academic and experience requirements:

Educational Qualification:

• M.Tech. or equivalent in Drilling Technology/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with minimum 60% marks
  OR
• B.Tech./M.Sc. in Drilling Technology/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent + 2 years’ experience in Drilling Operations.

Desired Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in Project Management is highly desirable.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 35 years as of the last date of application. The project site is located at a high-altitude region (~4450m), requiring candidates to be physically fit for field assignments.

Job Description – Roles & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will actively assist in executing ONGC Energy Centre’s Geothermal Project. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising drilling operations at project sites.
• Preparing technical proposals, contracts, and tendering documents.
• Conducting field supervision, sample collection, data computation, and reporting.
• Preparing Daily Progress and Completion Reports.
• Coordinating with project teams and partner institutions.
• Scanning for new R&D technologies in geothermal and renewable sectors.

Salary and Fellowship Benefits

• Initial Monthly Compensation: ₹55,880
  (Includes ₹44,000 fellowship + ₹11,880 HRA)
• After 1 Year: ₹58,420 per month
• After 2 Years: ₹62,230 per month
• Annual Incentive: Equivalent to 2 months’ fellowship for outstanding performance.

Duration of Engagement

• Initial appointment will be for 1 year.
• Can be extended up to a maximum of 4 years, based on project requirements and individual performance.
