In Grade III, there are 111 openings, most of which require a 10th pass and ITI certificate in relevant trades. Grade V includes 16 vacancies requiring either a diploma or relevant certification with experience. Grade VII, which offers the highest number of positions—135 in total—typically requires a B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent.

Salaries vary depending on the grade. Grade III candidates will be placed in the ₹26,600 – ₹90,000 pay band. Grade V pay ranges from ₹32,000 to ₹1,27,000, and Grade VII offers ₹37,500 to ₹1,45,000. Additional perks like DA, HRA, and medical benefits are applicable as per Oil India’s HR policy.

For Grade III, candidates should have passed 10th and possess an ITI in the relevant trade. Grade V requires a 10th pass along with either a trade certificate or diploma and work experience. For Grade VII, a B.Sc. in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification is necessary.

The minimum age across all categories is 18 years. However, the upper age limit varies: 30 years for General, 33 for OBC (NCL), and 35 for SC/ST as of 18th August 2025. Category-wise relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process includes three main stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Document Verification
