Selection Process and Evaluation Criteria

Job Profile and Work Environment
The contractual geologists will primarily be engaged in both office and field duties, including wellsite operations and on-call duty in remote installations. The role demands physical fitness and mental resilience to handle hazardous and demanding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support drilling and workover operations.
- Maintain geological documentation and submit reports.
- Conduct drill cuttings analysis, geological correlations, and litholog preparations.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of Assam-Arakan petroleum basin
- Basic interpretation of open/cased hole logs
- Knowledge of MS Office, CorelDRAW, and Petrel software
- Capability to work in shift-based and remote conditions
Terms of Engagement and General Conditions
- Tenure: Initially 6 months; extendable up to 1 year based on performance.
- Remuneration: ₹70,000 per month + ₹500/day for offsite work.
- Leave: 20 days paid leave per year.
