About NMCG Consultant Recruitment 2025
In a move aimed at strengthening technical support for sewerage infrastructure projects under the Ganga Rejuvenation program, the NMCG will hire 3 Consultants (Sewage Expert Grade-2) on a contractual basis. The initial engagement will be for one year, extendable based on performance and organizational needs.
Selected candidates will work from the NMCG office at India Gate, New Delhi, and will play a critical role in project appraisals, implementation reviews, and site inspections for STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) projects.

Eligibility Criteria for NMCG Consultant Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification:
- Essential: Graduation in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
- Desirable: M.E/M.Tech in Structural Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
Experience Requirement:
- 8 to 15 years of experience in:
- Planning, design, and construction of STP projects.
- Supervision and monitoring of sewage infrastructure.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in sewage treatment, especially STPs with capacity more than 10 MLD (Million Litres per Day).
Job Responsibilities for Sewage Expert Consultant
Selected candidates will:
- Support in reviewing and appraising Concept Notes, Feasibility Reports (FR), and Detailed Project Reports (DPR) related to sewerage projects.
- Participate in site visits for project implementation review.
- Assist in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) monitoring of STP plants.
- Offer technical inputs on the use of emerging technologies in the sewage sector.
Salary / Remuneration

Selection Process
The selection will be conducted through:
- Shortlisting: Based on educational qualifications and experience.
- Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an offline interview.
- Medical Fitness: Selected candidates will have to submit a Good Health Certificate from a recognized physician/hospital.
