Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification – Teaching Posts

Candidates must possess Graduate or Post Graduate degree with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution, along with the required length of service in KVS, depending on the post.

  • Principal: Minimum 3 years regular service in KVS with Master’s Degree
  • Vice-Principal: At least 5 years of service as PRT/TGT in KVS with Master’s Degree
  • PGT Posts:
    • Master’s Degree in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks
    • B.Ed / Integrated B.Ed–M.Ed
    • Minimum 3 years regular service as TGT in KVS
  • TGT Posts:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject with B.Ed
    • Minimum 5 years regular service as PRT
    • CTET Paper-II mandatory

Non-Teaching Posts Qualification

  • Head Master: PRT with 5 years service + CTET Paper-I
  • Finance Officer:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Economics / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter)
    • Required service period in KVS
  • Section Officer / ASO / SSA / JSA:
    • Graduation with prescribed years of regular service in KVS
