ICMR Young Professionals 2025 – Vacancy Details, Eligibility & Salary
ICMR has announced a total of 12 vacancies, distributed as follows:
- Young Professional-I (Admin) – 05 Posts
- Young Professional-II (Admin) – 06 Posts
- Young Professional-II (IT/Data Analyst) – 01 Post
Educational Qualifications & Age Limit
- YP-I (Admin): Graduate in any discipline with 55% marks + 1-year experience.
Age: Not more than 35 years. - YP-II (Admin): Postgraduate in any discipline with 55% marks + 1-year experience.
Age: Not more than 40 years. - YP-II (IT): Postgraduate in IT/CS/AI with 55% marks + 1-year experience in data analytics.
Age: Not more than 40 years.
Remuneration
- YP-I: ₹30,000 per month (consolidated)
- YP-II: ₹42,000 per month (consolidated)

Roles & Responsibilities for ICMR Young Professionals
The work responsibilities vary based on the roles:
Young Professionals (Admin)
- Assist in HR-related work: recruitment, promotions, pension, and retirements.
- Handle purchases, tenders, contracts, and store inventory.
- Maintain documentation, post-based rosters, and office administration records.
Young Professional (IT/Data Analyst)
- Work on MIS and data management.
- Create dashboards, KPIs, visualizations, and perform data cleaning and validation.
- Ensure data security, manage reporting processes, and automate workflows.
