This recruitment aims to fill 3 vacancies for the posts of Ship Design Assistant in Electrical, Structural, and Piping disciplines. Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria, Salary, and Age Limit
1. Ship Design Assistant (Electrical)
- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Design at shipyards or engineering establishments
- Desirable: AutoCAD, SAP, CADMATIC, drafting knowledge in ship electrical systems
- Vacancies: 01 (UR)
- Consolidated Pay:
- 1st Year: ₹24,400 + ₹6,100 (Extra Work Compensation)
- 2nd Year: ₹25,100 + ₹6,280
- 3rd Year: ₹25,900 + ₹6,480
2. Ship Design Assistant (Structural)
- Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in structural ship design
- Desirable: Proficiency in drafting Hull Structure and design software
- Vacancies: 01 (UR)
3. Ship Design Assistant (Piping)
- Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Piping design
- Desirable: Knowledge of Machinery outfit drafting and AutoCAD tools
- Vacancies: 01 (OBC-NCL)
- Maximum Age Limit: 45 years (as on 30 June 2025), relaxable by 3 years for OBC and up to 50 years for Ex-servicemen as per GoI norms

Selection Process
