Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the apprenticeship training, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Educational Qualification: Pass in 10th standard AND Pass in ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years as of 16 June 2025.
- Domicile: Only Indian citizens domiciled in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are eligible.
- Physical Standards: Must satisfy Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and amendments.
- Reservation: As per Government of India norms.
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any other organization are not eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure: Merit-Based Shortlisting
The selection process for the CSL CANSRU apprentice vacancies will be based entirely on merit, as determined by the percentage of marks in the ITI qualification.
- In case of a tie in marks, seniority in age will be used to resolve the tie.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified through their registered email.
- They must appear for certificate verification with the original documents and self-attested copies.
- Final selection will be made after successful verification and medical fitness.
Candidates will also be required to execute an Apprenticeship Contract Agreement via the Apprenticeship India portal.
