Banabasi Govt. Higher Secondary School, Nuapadar, Phiringia, Kandhamal, Odisha, has invited applications from eligible individuals for engagement as Guest Faculty PGTs in various subjects. The engagement is purely temporary, and selection will be based on merit and eligibility criteria prescribed by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha.
Interested candidates must apply through offline mode and ensure their application reaches the school by 12th June 2025 at 4:00 PM. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email or WhatsApp and must report on 16th June 2025 at 10:00 AM.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- B.Ed or equivalent degree recognized by NCTE, New Delhi is preferred.
- If B.Ed-qualified candidates are unavailable, fresh candidates may be considered.

Preference for Selection
The selection process will follow the preference hierarchy mentioned below:
- Retired Govt. College or Higher Secondary School teachers of the same institution (below 65 years) with good service records.
- Retired teachers from other Govt. Colleges/HSS (below 65 years).
- Retired Aided College/HSS teachers receiving GIA (Government in Aid), under age 65.
- Fresh postgraduates as per merit, in case of non-availability of retired faculty.
Honorarium
- Rs. 400 per class, subject to a maximum of 50 classes per month.
- Monthly ceiling: Rs. 20,000/-
