Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications for APMSRB Mental Health Recruitment 2025

Consultant Psychiatrist
- MBBS with MD in Psychiatry or equivalent.
- Experience in Telemedicine or working with multidisciplinary teams is desirable.
Clinical Psychologist
- Post Graduate degree in Psychology or Applied Psychology or M.Phil. in Mental Health and Social Psychology.
Psychiatric Social Worker
- M.A./M.S.W. in Medical Psychiatric Social Work.
- M.Phil./Ph.D. and 2 years of mental health experience desirable.
Counsellor
- Master’s in Clinical Psychology/Social Work/Sociology or Bachelor’s with 2 years’ experience in counselling.
- Shift duty is required.
Technical Coordinator
- BE/Diploma in Engineering or MCA with 2 years of experience in health-related technologies.
Data Entry Operator
- Any Degree + PGDCA with healthcare project experience preferred.

- 75% from qualifying degree marks
- Up to 15% weightage for contract or COVID-19 service
- Up to 10 marks based on years passed since qualifying degree
Weightage by Area Type:
- Tribal Area: 2.5 marks per 6 months
- Rural Area: 2.0 marks per 6 months
- Urban Area: 1.0 mark per 6 months
Candidates with valid service certificates for contract/COVID service must upload the same for availing weightage.
