Job Role & Responsibilities of Block Field Monitors
As a Block Field Monitor (BFM), selected candidates will play a frontline role in ensuring smooth implementation of the CSAM & AMB programmes. This involves working with Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), ASHAs, and ANMs to track child growth, manage Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) cases, and strengthen preventive measures.
BFMs will also:
- Conduct anthropometric assessments of children and support their referral to NRCs or community-based care.
- Facilitate Vitamin A supplementation, Deworming, Anemia Mukt Bharat activities, and IYCF interventions.
- Ensure quality data entry through mobile apps and prepare community-level progress reports.
This role is intensive, with about 15 days of field travel per month, requiring both dedication and resilience.
