Advanced Centre for Energetic Materials (ACEM), a premier research unit under the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), has released its Apprenticeship recruitment notification for the year 2025-26. This recruitment drive, under the Apprentices Act 1961 (amended in 1973 & 2014), invites applications for one-year training across various disciplines for both Graduate and Diploma holders. Candidates passionate about national defence technology and looking to gain practical experience in a cutting-edge facility are encouraged to apply.
The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis with no promise of future employment. The last date to apply is 15th June 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen
- Age Limit: As per apprenticeship norms
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentices: Degree in Engineering/Science/Commerce/Library Science (2024 & 2025 pass-outs only)
- Technician Apprentices: Diploma holders (2024 & 2025 pass-outs only)
- Experience: Candidates with job/training experience of 1 year or more post qualification are not eligible.
- Reservation: As per Government of India guidelines

- Scan and email the filled form along with all documents (including CGPA-to-percentage conversion formula) in PDF format to:

Selection Process
- Mode: Based on merit and/or interview.
- Selection Committee will decide final selection based on academic performance and eligibility.

Terms and Conditions
- The apprenticeship period is one year.
- No employment guarantee after training.
- Apprentices must submit Medical Fitness and Police Verification certificates before joining.
- Candidates engaging in canvassing or providing false info will be disqualified.
- No hostel/transport/accommodation will be provided.
- The number of slots may increase or decrease at the discretion of ACEM.
