Educational Qualification

Graduate Apprentices:

  • A full-time regular 4-year engineering degree in a relevant discipline from a university recognized by AICTE or Government of India.

Diploma Apprentices:

  • A full-time regular 3-year diploma in engineering from a recognized institute affiliated with AICTE.

ITI Apprentices:

  • A certificate in relevant ITI trade (NCVT approved) such as COPA, Electrical, Mechanic, or Electronics.

Only candidates who have passed their degree/diploma/ITI in 2023 or later are eligible. Apprentices who have already completed or are currently undergoing training are not eligible.

Age Limit and Region Eligibility

  • Maximum Age: 26 years as on 31 March 2025.
  • Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years (additional)

Selection Process

The selection will be made purely based on merit, as per the marks obtained in the qualifying examination:

  2. Date of birth and date of passing will be used to determine priority in case of ties.

  4. Final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness.

Terms of Engagement

  • The apprenticeship duration will be 12 months from the date of joining.
  • Apprentices shall be assessed quarterly and will undergo an online skill assessment test.
  • Apprentices must maintain a work diary, follow employer instructions, and attend training classes regularly.
  • Certificates will be issued only after completing all assessments.
  • Apprentices are not entitled to employment after completion of training.
  • The contract will be automatically terminated after 12 months unless otherwise stated.

General Instructions

  • Selected candidates will not be provided with accommodation or food.
  • Candidates must produce:
    • Aadhaar card (ID proof)
    • Marksheet and certificate of qualifying exam
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
    • Non-creamy layer certificate (OBC), valid on date of verification
    • Medical fitness certificate from a government hospital
  • Candidates applying for multiple disciplines will be disqualified.
  • No TA/DA will be provided at any stage.

Reservation Policy

  • Reservation is applicable as per Apprentice Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
  • Candidates must produce valid caste certificates.
  • OBC candidates must ensure their certificate includes the “non-creamy layer” clause.
