Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the BEL Project Engineer posts, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, experience, and age limit.
Educational Qualification
- Electronics Discipline:
BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, E&T, Telecommunication, or related fields. - Mechanical Discipline:
BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum Marks Required:
55% aggregate marks for General/EWS/OBC candidates and pass class for SC/ST/PwBD.
Experience
- Minimum two years of post-qualification relevant industry experience is mandatory.
- Experience in defense-related projects, embedded systems, software development, mechanical design, or quality assurance is preferred.
Age Limit
- Upper age limit: 32 years as of 01 May 2025.

- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years (in addition to category relaxation)
Selection Process
The selection will be based on:
- Shortlisting: Based on educational qualification and relevant experience.
- Written Test: Candidates meeting eligibility will be called for a written test.
- Interview: Those who qualify the written test will be shortlisted for the interview (in 1:5 ratio).
Final selection will be based on the cumulative performance in the written test and interview.

Remuneration and Benefits
Selected candidates will be engaged as Project Engineer-I on a temporary basis with the following pay scale:
