All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Kalyani has invited applications for three posts under an ICMR-funded research project titled “Taskforce on Establishment of Reference Intervals in Indian Population (TERIIP): A Multi-Centric Observational Cross-Sectional Study.” The recruitment is temporary and tenure-based. Candidates with the required qualifications and interest in community-based medical research are encouraged to apply before 15th June 2025.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

1. Project Research Scientist-I (Medical)

The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising the overall execution of the project, including participant screening, quality control in blood sample collection, overseeing data entry, and preparing project reports periodically.

Eligibility:

• MBBS or BDS from a recognized institution.
• Maximum age: 30 years as of the application deadline.
• Preference: Prior experience in community-based research and proficiency in Bengali.

Salary: Rs. 67,000 + 30% HRA per month; a 5% increment applies in the third year.

2. Project Technical Support-II

This role involves active involvement in the collection, transport, testing, and quality control of blood samples. The candidate will also manage inventory and leftover sample management.

Eligibility:

• 12th pass in Science + Diploma (DMLT or equivalent) + 3 years of relevant experience OR
• B.Sc. in relevant field + 2 years of relevant experience.
• Maximum age: 30 years as of the application deadline.

Salary: Rs. 20,000 + 30% HRA per month.

3. Data Entry Operator

The candidate will support the research team by managing accurate and organized data entry and ensuring integrity in data reporting.

Eligibility:

• 12th pass with Science from a recognized board.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills in English (written & spoken).
• Maximum age: 30 years as of the application deadline.

Salary: Rs. 29,200 per month (fixed).

• Either party may terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice.
