Are You Eligible for the Technician Role
To maintain quality rail operations, Konkan Railway is looking for technically sound and experienced hands. Here’s what they’re looking for:
Educational Qualification
Technician (Welder):
- ITI (Welding Trade) full-time from a Government-recognized ITI.
Technician (Fitter):
- ITI (Fitter Trade) full-time from a Government-recognized ITI.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in Railway Workshops.
Age Limit (as on 01-06-2025)
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
Salary – Based on City Classifications
The salary structure is defined based on the city class where the employee will be posted:
- Class A Cities: ₹40,500/month
- Class B Cities: ₹38,000/month
- Class C Cities: ₹35,500/month
This consolidated monthly remuneration covers basic pay, allowances, and benefits applicable under KRCL norms.

How to Attend the Walk-in Interview?
