Post Details and Eligibility for BMC Registrar & House Officer Recruitment
The recruitment includes two types of posts:
- Registrar – Salary components include Rs. 6,700 base + Rs. 44,522 DA + Rs. 3,350 DP + Rs. 27,000 additional stipend. Total monthly compensation stands at ₹81,572.
- House Officer – Salary includes Rs. 6,600 base + Rs. 43,857 DA + Rs. 3,300 DP + Rs. 27,000 additional stipend. Total monthly compensation is ₹80,757.
The minimum required qualification for both posts is an MBBS degree from a recognized institution and valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council. Candidates applying for Registrar posts must also possess a postgraduate passing certificate and tenure completion proof.
Age criteria are as follows:
- 33 years for general candidates (born after 01.08.1992)
- 38 years for reserved category candidates (born after 01.08.1987)
Candidates must clearly mention whether they are applying for the Registrar or House Officer post. Only one preference and one application are permitted.

BMC Recruitment Application Process and Counseling Schedule
The application form will be available from 01 July 2025 to 10 July 2025 (excluding weekends) at K.B. Bhabha Hospital, Bandra (West), between 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A fee of ₹462 (including GST) is applicable.
Completed forms must be submitted at the same location within the same timeframe. Applications submitted via post will not be entertained. Incomplete, inaccurate, or late applications will be rejected.

- House Officers List Display: 29 July 2025 at 10:00 AM

All selected candidates must bring original documents for verification and submit a Demand Draft of ₹10,000 in favor of “Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.” This deposit is refundable after tenure completion, subject to terms.

Important Guidelines & Conditions
- Candidates who abandon the post or fail to join will be blacklisted for 3 years.
